Scandinavian steak with grilled asparagus and shiitake
Season the steak generously with sea salt and black pepper on all sides...
Season the steak generously with sea salt and black pepper on all sides.
Heat a grill pan sizzling hot, put in the butter and steak.
Fry the steak on either side for 3 minutes (medium rare) or to your liking
Take the pan with the steak off the fire, put in aluminium foil, pour over the juices and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
In the meantime wash the asparagus and grill them in the same pan for 5 minutes. Turn regularly and after 5 minutes add the shiitake mushrooms. Keep the fire low for 2-3 minutes and serve the steak, asparagus and mushrooms on a plate.
